On my sixth day in Ireland, I finally stopped relying on Google Maps to get home and started getting used to eating different kinds of potatoes every day. I woke up early, quickly changed my clothes, and packed my backpack. I was terrified of missing the bus, or I'd be waiting for an hour in 10-degree weather with a light drizzle! Luckily, I've done a lot of good deeds, and with God's blessing, I got on the bus. But little did I know, tragedy was about to begin. The bus was packed with commuters and students rushing to class. When I tried to get off, I couldn't get off, so I had to skip my stop and slowly walk to school. When I arrived at school, I checked my phone—thankfully, it was 8:50! Walking into the classroom, I discovered that the classmate sitting next to me was from Brazil, a country I was filled with curiosity about. She patiently explained her country's customs and language. During class, we helped each other understand the complex grammar and vocabulary. After class, we said goodbye and prepared to head to the restaurant for lunch. I was so lucky to finally eat white rice, something I hadn't had for days! After enjoying my long-awaited meal, we visited the Viking Museum, which featured in-depth research findings and historical background information. The vivid wax figures and lively music made it easier for me, with my limited English, to understand. But! On the way to the museum, the most tragic thing happened! Suddenly, a crisp sound came from behind me—smack! Sound! And then I felt something warm on my back! Turns out it was bird poop! I thought it was a leaf! The people next to me could only laugh and say, "Welcome to Dublin!" Now I can't comfortably watch the World Cup with my friends today! I can only silently wash my clothes behind them. Maybe the chances of getting hit by bird poop are small, but this seems to be testing my adaptability! Or maybe it's just another kind of special welcome! Ugh! Never mind, I need to go do laundry! Otherwise, I'll be waiting for the bus in the cold wind in short sleeves!
